Time of Dissonance

I directed an anime music video with a remote team of 17 creatives that I recruited. “Time of Dissonance” is about a fire tiger prince escaping war and then meeting a Mexican time traveler who saves his life. Below are just samples that my animation team helped to create through my direction.

Hola y Adios Music Animated Promo

The animated promo is commissioned by Tejano singer Veronique Medrano from South Texas. “Hola y Adios” has 17,690 plays on Spotify so animating it would give it a better chance in digital marketing. It blends anime and traditional South Texas music.

Bad Piñata!

“Bad Pinata!” is a dark action comedy about a piñata named Luis who fights against homelessness and the Alt-Right. This is a response to the 2019 El Paso shooting against Mexicans and the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles as well as the lack of Latinx adult animation. This animation was pitched to the television network Adult Swim‘s development meeting and won a small award.
